How We Are Notified
When an officer or firefighter is in need, they submit a request through their department’s appointed liaison. Acting as a bridge between the applicant and our Board, these staff members keep the individual’s identity completely confidential.
Our Team
Every request is carefully reviewed to make sure it meets our guidelines. From there, the Board deliberates and makes a decision quickly, understanding how urgent these situations can be. Throughout the process, the applicant is kept updated every step of the way.
Community Support
Local businesses and community members play a big role in keeping our mission strong. Some of the ways you can get involved include:
- Round-Up Programs: Partnering businesses can invite customers to “round up” their receipts, with the extra change going directly to support officers and firefighters in need.
- Community Events: Our Board is always eager to participate in or support local events that raise awareness and funds for our mission.
- Tribute Gifts: Donations made “in memory of” or “in honor of” a loved one provide a meaningful way to give back while celebrating someone’s life and legacy.
